This is a full-time (Monday through Friday) professional position that demands a detail-oriented approach and previous experience handling business accounts. A degree is not a requirement.

Pay Scale
Salaried, amount depending upon experience. Plus Attractive Benefits Package.

Duties
Must have a knowledge of financial, administrative, and clerical services including:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

We are looking for candidates with relevant prior experience, but younger candidates with limited previous experience may be considered. Other required Core Competencies include:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proficiency in English and MS Office products: Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Willing to learn our Accounting, Electronic Data Interchange, & ERP systems (we will train you)
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow with attention to detail and accuracy

Job Description
This is a Full-Time (Monday-Friday) position, located at our Office and Store in the North Buffalo/Tonawanda, NY area. Employee reports to the VP of Operations. The successful candidate will be proficient in performing standard clerical and administrative duties within our office, be able to quickly learn and implement new duties, and also be able to assist clients with questions and orders, both on the phone and in our store. Proficient use of a keyboard for data entry is an absolute necessity. Additionally, you will be expected to provide high-quality customer service by maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times.

Job Responsibilites include:

  • Regular & reliable on-time attendance.
  • Help organize office activities.
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, printers, scanners, fax machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers running Microsoft Office and our ERP system.
  • Maintain supplies in printers and attend to malfunctioning office equipment when necessary.
  • Assist in filing duties and retrieve files for action.
  • Perform basic book-keeping duties and compile financial records.

Job Description
This is a Full-Time (Monday-Friday) position, located at our Store in the North Buffalo/Tonawanda, NY area. Employee reports to the VP of Operations. The successful candidate will be our primary interface with customers who visit our store in person or call our store by phone, and this position requires that you must be able to represent us effectively and efficiently at all times. Since this position includes inside sales activity, you must also be very comfortable helping customers understand our products and services by answering their questions and attending to any potential reservations that they may have. To succeed in this role, you must be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated, and you must have experience working with computers.

Job Responsibilites include:

  • Regular & reliable on-time attendance.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times.

Open Position DJS160823 - Janitorial Equipment Repair Technician

Join one of the largest janitorial equipment and supplies distributors in the North East. Our family-owned and operated company has an opening for an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, practical-minded person to work within our Janitorial Equipment Repair Facility. This is a full-time professional position that demands a practical approach and the ability to work with electric motors and mechanical equipment, but a degree is not a requirement.

Duties
Must be able to work unsupervised as a team member in our Janitorial Equipment Repair Team. Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of AC/DC powered Vacuum Cleaners, Floor & Carpet Sweepers, Floor Machines, Carpet Cleaning Extractors...
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other technical staff.
  • Moving/Driving/Lifting heavy janitorial equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work overtime as workload dictates and perform other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will be given equipment-specific training, but some prior experience working with small electric motors and electrical equipment would be advantageous. Other required qualifications include:

  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs and be able to work on foot most of the day.
  • Customer service skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Time management skills and ability to work well with minimal supervision required.
  • Experience with computer spreadsheets and online ordering systems required.
  • On-Site and Off-site duties require ability to meet insurability standards to drive a company and/or customer vehicle.
  • Pre-employment drug testing conducted.

Job Description
This is a Full-Time (Monday-Friday) day shift position, with significant opportunity for overtime, located at our Warehouse in the North Buffalo/Tonawanda, NY area. Employee reports to the Delivery Manager.

Job Responsibilites include:

  • Regular & reliable on-time attendance
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
  • Transporting and delivering items to clients in a safe and timely manner
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Operating other equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc., as required
  • Communicate with managers, other staff, and customers

Join one of the largest janitorial equipment and supplies distributors in the North East. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, person with previous external sales experience. Direct experience in the Janitorial Supplies Sector is a plus, but not a requirement.

Duties Include:

  • Internal and external sales activities
  • Managing an extensive list of existing customers
  • Generating new business by bringing on new customers

The successful candidate will be required to manage and develop an established territory based in Buffalo, NY, extending East as far as Albany and Southwest to the PA border, with a substantial list of existing customers. You will also be expected to aggressively grow this territory by making prospecting calls, arranging meetings, making sales visits, presenting technical information to a range of customers from small businesses to large corporations, and closing new sales.
